We would like to take a minute and congratulate our 3 junior high bowlers who bowled this past Saturday in the SIJHSAA State Tournament at St Clair Bowl in O'Fallon.

8th grader Ava Garbe was our highest finisher as an individual bowler. She place 17th out of 80 individuals, just missing 15ht place by 13 pins which would have earned her a medal. Ava finished with a 159 average for 6 games that day. The state champion was from Smithton, Annmarie Duff, who won by 43 pins with a 213 average.

We had 2 qualifiers for the boys, 8th grader Colby Casperson and 6th grader Masen Davis.
Colby finished 29th out of 80 qualifying individuals with a 173 average for 6 games. Masen finished in a tie for 55th out of 80 bowlers with a 157 average.

Good job bowlers and our coaches. We are very proud of our Greyhounds!
