Congratulations to our jh track athletes who qualified for the SIJHSAA State Track Meet at Murphysboro High School on May 9th!

8th grader Maverick Wilkins qualified in 3 events.

He placed 2nd in the high jump with a height of 5’0

He placed 2nd in the 100 M hurdles with a time of 15.7

He placed 2nd in the 400 with a time of 59.9

Ava Garbe qualified with a 2nd place finish in the 800M with a time of 2:32

Ava Garbe Harper Burress, Holland Burress and Gracelyn Trivett also qualified by placing 2nd in the 4x400 Relay with a time of 4:43

Great job by all of our jh track athletes at the regional meet in Breese. Many athletes placed in the top 6 of their events earning points for their team.
