CoEd Varsity Cross Country at First to Finish held at SIUE

The Greyhounds took 4 guys and 1 girl to SIUE for the First to the Finish Meet on Saturday, August 27th. Needing 5 for team competition, the Greyhounds competed as individuals. Maddie Schoenfeld finished 57th of 323 female participants. Another good showing for Maddie. The guys ran shortly after the ladies. Jaxen McNeese was 28th (19:05), Austin Yates 138th (21:47), Dylan Hatten 326th (27:23) and Nathan Midgely was 343rd (28:22). There were 382 male participants. The course was 5K (3.1 miles) and is considered one of the tougher courses the Greyhounds run. The heat and humidity made the courses even tougher. Good showing for this time of the season.
